Assistant Project Manager (Capital Development)

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will join our Capital Development team and support the development and delivery of ZSL's Strategic Capital Projects across our London estate. Working alongside the London Capital Development Manager you will help progress projects from early design and development through governance and delivery, supporting projects that will shape the future of ZSL's estate and our conservation zoos.

You will play an important role in keeping projects moving, coordinating actions and stakeholders, maintaining project plans and governance information, and supporting the development of business cases, reports and presentations. You'll also contribute research and analysis to help inform project scoping, options appraisal, procurement and ZSL's wider estates strategy.

This is an opportunity to build your project management and strategy experience in a truly unique environment, working with colleagues across ZSL as well as consultants, contractors, planning authorities and other external partners. You'll gain exposure to the opportunities and challenges of planning and delivering capital development projects within London's complex urban environment, while contributing to projects with a lasting impact.

This role is hybrid, with 2 to 3 days per week expected on site at ZSL's London office.
